Srinivas and Shankar Mahadevan, as well as sitar player Niladri Kumar and Selvaganesh's father T.H. "Vikku" Vinayakram.[citation needed] He has also formed a new group called dr JSM, with the UK-based Goan songwriter/producer dr.Joel and the young Carnatic singer Mahesh.[citation needed] Their Indo-Celtic album entitled Turn on the dreams was released in the UK in 2005.

In 2012, Selvaganesh made his film directorial debut with Bodhai,[3] a short film in Tamil. He also composed the four-track soundtrack which was released in digital format by Saregama.[4]

Rajib Karmakar - Sitar

Rajib Karmakar is undoubtedly one of the finest young sitar players today. Years of learning have resulted in an extensive technique and deep understanding of diverse musical styles. His open mind has led to an extension of his musical horizon to incorporate imaginative experiments in world music styles that delight the young and the old. He has performed all over the world, in prestigious music concerts and festivals. He is the creator of the world’s first double necked electric Sitar ” Mayur Tantri” . Rajib’s versatility has ably adapted his classical knowledge and skill in his fusion projects like Wahh(USA), Fuzorhythm(India), Loop Science(Germany), Nada Naissance(France) etc.

'Best of the Bay' 2016 winner WAHH World Fusion Band, lead by well-known Indian Classical and Fusion Musician Shankh Lahiri, will be joined by world renowned Master Percussionist, Selva Ganesh.

Using the scintillating sounds of Indian Tabla and Vocal overtones, ‘Wahh’ (meaning 'inner joy and deep appreciation from the heart' - or 'wow') fuses a modern approach weaved with Sitar, Western Drums, Guitar and Bass. Combining Indian Raga music and Western harmonic melodies with an infectious Rhythm section creates a strikingly impressive blend of Musical style and instruments. With such diversity, ‘Wahh!’ provides a captivating and musically luscious experience. Wahh! World Fusion Band has performed at many prestigious venues and festivals throughout the United States such as 'The House of Blues' and 'The Mint' in L.A, Rockwood Music Hall in New York City and Tampa’s premier performing Venue – The Straz Center for the Performing Arts. They have performed at many Festivals across the U.S and here at home in Tampa Bay for the Gasparilla Music Festival, Tropical Heatwave and was featured for the special 'Lights on Tampa Bay' event.
